The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is preparing to celebrate its annual Honors Week with the following events:
Honors Week Poster Session – Tuesday, April 15, 2025
Join the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society (SAACS) for the 11th annual Honors Week Poster Session, where undergraduate and graduate students from chemistry and other STEM disciplines will present their research. Participants will showcase their scientific posters and compete for cash prizes!

Location: Integrated Sciences Building, Main Street area
Time: 5:30 PM – Opening remarks
Judging Sessions:
Session 1: 6:00–7:00 PM
Session 2: 7:00–8:00 PM
The event is free and open to the public, with no registration required. Refreshments will be available, and the evening will conclude with a raffle.
Honors Symposium – Thursday, April 17, 2025
The 2nd annual Honors Symposium will begin with an open lunch at 11:30 AM in the Integrated Sciences Building lobby.
