Starting Fall semester 2022, the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï College of Public Health (CPH) will offer a new Master of Public Health (MPH) cohort in Health Policy and Management focused on population health and health insurance. The new MPH cohort program will be offered in a hybrid format, holding a combination of both in-person and online courses designed for working professionals in healthcare and health insurance responsible for implementing population-focused programs. The 24-month program will combine regular cohort face-to-face interaction with online asynchronous courses and a required applied practice experience.
In-person courses will meet five Saturdays across the program (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one-hour lunch) at the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï College of Podiatric Medicine campus right here in Independence, Ohio. Remote segments of the course will be available to students online asynchronously (no set meeting time). Students will also be required to complete 3 credit hours (150 contact hours) of Applied Practice Experience.
The program is ideal for professionals who are looking for flexibility while seeking to interact with healthcare and health insurance leaders in a cohort model. Cohort members will build long-term relationships as they progress through the program together step by step.
