Hui Yu is originally from Jiangsu, China, and came to the United States in 2004.

She began teaching Chinese at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï in 2012. She is the Chinese program coordinator, teaching multiple level courses, from introductory to upper-division Chinese course, as well as advising students in Chinese minor program.
