The Center for Advanced Air Mobility fosters research, testing and development in advanced air mobility, which represents a groundbreaking integration of autonomous aircraft technology into the national airspace and the global economy.
Advanced Materials and Liquid Crystal Institute
Building on the foundation of the Glenn H. Brown Liquid Crystal Institute’s 50-year legacy of cutting edge science, the Advanced Materials and Liquid Crystal Institute embraces all materials research on campus, with an initial emphasis on materials that respond to changes in their environment.
Institute for African American Affairs
The Institute for African American Affairs was established in 1969 as a result of protests by ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State's student organization, the Black United Students. The institute assists in collaborative research and program development and implementation, as well as establishing programmatic relationships with various bodies in and surrounding ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï.
Center for African Studies
The Center for African Studies is devoted to promoting awareness and understanding of contemporary issues in Africa through the offerings of the African Studies minor, study abroad programs, fellowships and internships for students.
Anti-Racism and Equity Institute
The mission of the Anti-Racism and Equity Institute is to act as a university-wide, interdisciplinary research collaborative that advances racial justice through rigorous and accessible scholarship and creative activity.
Applied Psychology Center
A major goal of the Applied Psychology Center is to promote scholarly psychological research and practice concerning applied problems by improving student training and enhancing facility expertise in these areas.

Banach Center for Modern Mathematical Analysis
Named in honor of Stefan Banach (1892-1945), the founder of modern functional analysis, the Banach Center for Modern Mathematical Analysis serves as a catalyst for external funding and post-doctoral and visiting faculty positions and acts as an archive for research and publications in modern analysis.
Brain Health Research Institute
The Brain Health Research Institute is committed to improving our understanding of brain function in health, disease and repair. The institute's mission includes the development of new approaches aimed at understanding an array of neurological disorders by identifying genetic, environmental and behavioral influences that impact brain health across the life span.

Child Development Center
As an International Baccalaureate World School, the the Child Development Center provides innovative programs for toddler, preschool and kindergarten age children and serves as a professional development and research hub for the College of Education, Health and Human Services.
The Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative is a community design center committed to a sustainable, vibrant and inclusive urban future. Part of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State's College of Architecture and Environmental Design, the collaborative combines client-based projects, applied research, teaching and advocacy to impact urban design and policy.
Counseling Center
The Counseling Center offers individual and group counseling services for a wide variety of concerns for individuals from the university and community and serves as a training clinic for graduate students in the Counselor Education and Supervision program.

John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship
Employing an entrepreneurial mindset, the Brinzo Center generates societal impact through top-tier research, innovative education and meaningful engagement with the business community. The center offers business advising and mentorship to student, faculty and alumni business owners.

Lyman L. Lemnitzer Center for NATO and European Community Studies
Among its activities, the Lyman L. Lemnitzer Center for NATO and European Community Studies sponsors public lectures and conferences that are open to the university community and the general public. The center also coordinates participation by ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students in the National Model NATO Conference.

The Center for Nuclear Research enhances and promotes nuclear physics academic activities. Center faculty includes theorists and experimentalists doing research in the areas of high-energy nuclear physics and astrophysics.
Center for Nursing Research
The Center for Nursing Research is dedicated to supporting faculty and students to advance the science of nursing and health care research and engage in collaborative research locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Center for Nutrition Outreach
The Center of Nutrition Outreach offers free or low-cost services to ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students and employees as well as to the Portage County community. Services include nutrition education on weight control, cardiovascular/hypertension, digestive disorders, diabetes, eating disorders, nutrition/wellness, childhood obesity, food allergies and food safety.

The Ohio Literacy Resource Center originated as a result of the National Literacy Act of 1991 and provides support, training and resources for the people who work in and attend classes at adult and family literacy programs.

Center for Pan-African Culture
The Center for Pan-African Culture was created in 1970 to promote the cultural traditions of Pan-African peoples. It provides opportunities and facilities for the exposition of art forms — painting, sculpture, oral and written literature, poetry, music, dance, theatre — as well as other cultural modes of expression that define people of African descent.
Pre-Law Center
The Pre-Law Center assists students in navigating law school preparation and career exploration through tailored one-on-one academic advising, LSAT study resources, law-school focused extra-curricula and law-related programming.
Center for Public Health Preparedness
The Center for Public Health Preparedness unites academic, public health, business and community groups to address health and safety issues through education, research and workforce development.
Center for Public Policy and Health
The mission of the Center for Public Policy and Health is to conduct research to develop and improve public policies aimed at enhancing the public’s health, and to provide targeted assistance to public, non-profit and private organizations.

Reading and Writing Development Center
Established in 1956, the Reading and Writing Development Center provides consultative and tutorial services in reading and writing and as a practicum center for graduate students in literacy education programs.
Reinberger Children’s Library Center
The unique collection in the Reinberger Children's Library Center includes more than 40,000 children's books, original picture book art, posters and related ephemera, as well as resources for those serving, studying or creating for young people across multiple disciplines.
The primary goal of the research at the Center for Research and Innovation in Translation and Translation Technology is to build up new knowledge of translation and communication processes and provide a basis for technological innovation in this field.
Research Center for Education Technology
The Research Center for Educational Technology focuses on research, policy and practice related to cutting-edge technologies in teaching and learning. Such technologies have included 3D, mobile learning, online and blended learning, games and simulations and virtual reality.

Science of Learning and Education Center
The Science of Learning and Education Center fosters evidence-based reform of STEM education, health education and literacy and language learning, to improve achievement and retention for college and K-12 students in the surrounding community.
Center for Sport and Recreational Development
The Center for Sport and Recreation Development oversees the Gym Annex on the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus and provides laboratory opportunities for faculty research and internship experiences, scholarships and assistantships for students.

The ESL Center provides intensive English language instruction to students who want to enter academic programs at American universities or learn English for other personal or professional reasons.
