National Institute of Mental Health Grant Awarded

Trevor Williams, PhD

Dr. Trevor Williams, an assistant professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, is the recipient of a large-scale (R01) grant from the National Institute of Mental Health. He will serve as Co-Investigator (and PI of the KSU Sub-contract) for a project titled “Social Cognition Battery for Psychosis-Risk (SCB-PR): A Development and Validation Study” (total award: $3.62 million). It will be a multi-study longitudinal investigation in adolescents and young adults, validating and adapting social cognitive tasks that are sensitive to psychosis risk and changes in social functioning. This project is being done in collaboration with researchers at University of Texas at Dallas and at Northwestern University.
