In a special meeting on Dec. 4, digital media production student Saida Lewis, was invited to meet with ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State President Todd Diacon to discuss the creative inspiration for her winning design selected in a recent holiday card design competition.
The competition, organized by Diacon, sought to find the best design for his annual New Year’s card, which is distributed to a distinguished group of alumni and donors.
Lewis’ winning design was selected from among 18 entries submitted by students pursuing a wide variety of majors, including fashion merchandising, journalism, animation game design, computer science, visual communication design and communication studies. ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Student Ambassadors served as judges for the competition, and Lewis’ creation secured the most votes.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Lewis is in her first semester at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State, having transferred from another Ohio school. She is majoring in digital media production with a minor in visual communication design. The meeting with Diacon served as a platform for Lewis to discuss her artistic process, aspirations and experiences at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State.
This recognition not only highlights her individual achievement but also showcases the diverse skill sets and talents fostered within ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï's student community.
