ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State East Liverpool Recognizes Outstanding Students

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï at East Liverpool recently recognized the academic achievements of numerous students, and the generosity of scholarship donors during its annual Fall Scholarship Reception. Dr. Stephen Nameth, dean of the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Columbiana County campuses, welcomed the students, donors, family members and friends, while emphasizing the important role each relationship plays in measuring success at a university.

Are you looking to dip your toes in the expanding field of microchip manufacturing? ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï is offering two free micro-credential courses this spring to high school juniors and seniors, as well as industry professionals, fresh starters, educators, upskillers, reskillers and those excited about the world of semiconductors. The courses – Introduction to Semiconductor Devices and Sand to Silicon – are primarily online, with one planned in-person lab during the semester.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State at Salem held its White Coat Ceremony for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, signifying a rite of passage as they transition into the nursing field.

Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï at Salem, announced those students named to the Fall 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.
