Wall of Fame Banquet 2014

��Թ� at East Liverpool recognized the academic achievements of numerous students, esteemed alumni and supporters of ��Թ� State during its annual Wall of Fame Honors Award Banquet.

Dr. Stephen Nameth, dean of the ��Թ� State Columbiana County campuses, welcomed the students, esteemed guests, their families and several faculty members, while emphasizing the important role each relationship plays in measuring success at a university. He also acknowledged the many first generation college students at the event, himself included, and the importance of bridging that gap.

��Թ� State Offers Two Free Semiconductor Manufacturing Classes this Spring

Are you looking to dip your toes in the expanding field of microchip manufacturing? ��Թ� is offering two free micro-credential courses this spring to high school juniors and seniors, as well as industry professionals, fresh starters, educators, upskillers, reskillers and those excited about the world of semiconductors. The courses – Introduction to Semiconductor Devices and Sand to Silicon – are primarily online, with one planned in-person lab during the semester.

Salem BSN Students Prepare for Learning in Clinical Settings

��Թ� State at Salem held its White Coat Ceremony for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, signifying a rite of passage as they transition into the nursing field.

��Թ� State Salem Announces President’s, Dean’s Lists

Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer of ��Թ� at Salem, announced those students named to the Fall 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.
