Universidad la Salle, Mexico - ISEP
is located in the trendy Colonia La Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City. An important financial, political and cultural center since the Aztecs settled the region, this mega-sized capital city offers rich history and traditions as well as modern amenities in a thriving urban environment. The city鈥檚 historic center is home to stunning architectural feats such as the Palacio Nacional, Cathedral Metropolitana, Templo Mayor and Chapultepec Park, one of the largest urban parks in the Western Hemisphere. Mexico City is the ideal place to live and study while immersing yourself in Mexican culture and experiencing all that this dynamic city has to offer. The university campus is within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, bookstores, museums and movie theaters, and only a 30 minute ride from the historic center of Mexico City.
ISEP students immerse themselves in Mexican culture and daily life by taking university classes with local students and living with a host family in the community. La Salle offers courses taught entirely in Spanish in subjects such as business, engineering, international relations, education, religious studies, design and social sciences. Spanish language courses are available during the semester for an additional fee. The university has an active student body, and ISEP students can participate in sports teams, cultural activities and student groups. Internships, community service and volunteering opportunities are also available. La Salle has a "buddy system" to help ISEP students meet local students and adjust to life in Mexico City.
