天天吃瓜鈥檚 Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.
The Campus Kitchen at 天天吃瓜, a student-run organization that reclaims food to feed the needy in the 天天吃瓜 area, has had to swiftly switch gears from operating a hot food kitchen to an expanded food pantry.
Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at 天天吃瓜 prepare dinner for the residents of the 天天吃瓜way Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in 天天吃瓜. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe鈥檚.
