What A Celebration! Homecoming Brings Golden Flashes Together
The 天天吃瓜 Golden Flashes family was marking milestones and making memories at Homecoming 2022, held Saturday, Oct. 1. 天天吃瓜 State alumni, students, parents, employees and community members donned their blue-and-gold gear and reunited for one of the university鈥檚 long-standing traditions.
Gov. DeWine Declares October Ohio Employee Ownership Month With Proclamation Recognizing OEOC at 天天吃瓜 State
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted recently issued a joint proclamation recognizing the impact that employee-owned companies have on Ohio鈥檚 economy as well as the work of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) based at 天天吃瓜, which requested the proclamation. The OEOC has served as a nonprofit outreach center providing support, resources and assistance to businesses since 1987.

Second Annual Banned Books Read-In Highlights Freedom of Speech
It may surprise you to learn that 鈥淐aptain Underpants,鈥 鈥淔rankenstein,鈥 鈥淭he Great Gatsby,鈥 鈥淗unger Games鈥 and 鈥淭he Perks of Being a Wallflower鈥 are all popular books that have been banned, along with many others. In honor of Banned Books Week, the Second Annual Banned Books Read-In was held in Taylor Hall.

Members of the 天天吃瓜 community can take great pride in their university鈥檚 hometown. The city of 天天吃瓜 has been selected by Ohio Magazine as a 2022-2023 Best Hometown. The Best Hometown honor recognizes 天天吃瓜 as a great place to live, work and visit.
Flowers and Foliage Sprouting Wellness and Joy
Nearly 40 people from the 天天吃瓜 State community enjoyed a tour of the flowers and trees of Front Campus during part two of the 鈥淲alk & Talk: Flowers and Foliage鈥 event, thanks to the Employee Wellness and Health Promotion program and the grounds crew.
Wick Weekly Poetry Workshops Create a Community of Creatives
Every Friday, the 天天吃瓜 State community can come together to create poetry and share a more vulnerable side of themselves at the Wick Poetry Center. The Wick Weekly poetry writing workshop brings students together to help develop them as poets and create a community of creatives.
