Nationally, Sept. 15 marks the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. This year, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State is celebrating the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month as Avanzando Juntos: Moving Forward Together with numerous events and celebrations.

Women and Everyday Heroism

A combination of powerful art, reflective dance and historical courage are meant to connect and inspire a new generation of heroes. The art exhibition Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females Tapestries and Sculpture by Linda Stein takes residence at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State this fall.

After the Rain Comes the Rainbow: ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State at Akron Pride

After two days of heavy rains and intense winds across Northeast Ohio, the skies cleared, creating perfect weather for this year’s Akron Pride Festival, which took place on Saturday, Aug. 26, in downtown Akron. ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï 35 ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï students, faculty, staff and alumni gathered to take part in the Akron Equity March, which kicked off this year’s events.
