Bill Ayres Selected as New Dean and Chief Administrative Officer of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï at Trumbull

Following a national search, R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D., of Toledo, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï at Trumbull. Ayres is currently a professor of political science at the University of Toledo, where he previously served as senior vice provost for academic affairs from 2018 to 2020 and vice provost for academic affairs from 2017 to 2018.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Receives $1.2 Million Federal Grant to Assist Adults in College Enrollment

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï a nearly $1.2 million, five-year TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers program grant. The program is designed to provide support services to qualified adults, including veterans, who want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education.

Tankersley, Hylton Discuss Ways Students Can Be Successful and Stay Connected During Remote Learning

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Interim Senior Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., and Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., discussed ways that students can make the most of remote classes while still benefiting from student services during a recent appearance on Facebook Live. Both answered live questions and discussed such areas as summer class schedules, support for struggling students and staying healthy.
