The Air Force Reserve served as an Official Corporate Partner for the ’23-24 school year and returns this fall as an Official Corporate Partner for the current ’24-25 school year at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï and the University of Akron School of Law (Akron Law) recently finalized a Juris Doctor degree partnership program to create a seamless, sequential system for students to obtain a bachelor’s degree from ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State and a Juris Doctor degree from Akron Law in only six years.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï at Ashtabula and Cleveland Clinic are partnering to offer an associate degree program in respiratory therapy at the hospital’s main campus  in Cleveland later this year. The program provides access for participants to train for the in-demand profession of respiratory care. It also supports career growth for program graduates and practicing respiratory therapists with a path to admission for the online Bachelor of Science degree in respiratory care offered by ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Ashtabula.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has established a new partnership with Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law to offer students two pathways to obtain a bachelor’s degree from ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State and a law degree from CSU in six years. The new 3+3 program will shorten the length of time typically needed to complete both degrees.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has partnered with Greater Akron community organizations to conduct the first comprehensive and specific LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment (CNA). Efforts of this assessment focus on producing a better-informed public health system and improving the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community members.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s College of Nursing and Cleveland Clinic Akron General are joining forces to offer an adult/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certificate program beginning this fall. This collaborative one-year program was created to address the regional and national shortage of SANE-certified registered nurses, especially in rural areas.
