The 2023-2024 season of the 天天吃瓜 State Farmers' Market kicks off on the Student Green on Sept. 19 from 4-7 p.m.
The university has partnered with Haymaker Farmers' Market to bring a farmers' market to the 天天吃瓜 Campus. The 天天吃瓜 State Farmers' Market provides students with opportunities to learn about the local farming community, select fresh produce and connect with the broader 天天吃瓜 community.
For this season, each Farmers' Market will feature a chef's demo by a different representative from University Culinary Services. For September, Edward Shawn Hardin Sr., executive chef at 天天吃瓜 State's Design Innovation Dining facility in the DI Hub, will be preparing gazpacho in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
