Brandon Bell, a graduate in 天天吃瓜 State's Class of 2023, sang "Lift Every Voice and Sing" to open 天天吃瓜's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration event "Dialogue and Difference: a New Understanding MLK and Me" in the 天天吃瓜 Student Center Ballroom. The event was presented as a conversation over lunch centering on King's guiding principles of living a life of love and peace during times of conflict.
Bell is an Americorps Vista representative, working in 天天吃瓜 State's Office of University Outreach and Engagement. He was accompanied on piano by John Beavers, a graduate student studying public administration in 天天吃瓜 State's College of Arts and Sciences.
