1. Hourly rates at AMLCI Characterization Facility ()

Notes:

¹  The listed rates for academic users are discounted rates and only cover the basic staff service (instrument maintenance, lab management, etc.), All publications and presentations containing data obtained using the facility should acknowledge the use Of the facility and the contribution Of facility staff. Please check our facility policy or contact the facility staff for details. Upon acceptance of a publication acknowledging the facility, the user should send the publication information to the lab staff and discounts of publication and/or co-authorship will be granted.
²  The users need to purchase their own tips, which can be provided by the AFM Lab at the actual cost.
³  The users need to bring their own knives.
⁴  Rates for training and staff operation are normally the sum of the two parts (basic service and extra staff involvement). For group training, the cost is shared by the participants. 

⁵  For academic users, we strongly encourage self-use of the instruments after proper training. We also encourage formal collaborations between academic researchers and facility staff based on mutual agreements. We provide certain discount on the formal collaborations. Please contact facility supervisor for details.
