What an incredible time to be part of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering at 天天吃瓜!

In a rapidly evolving world, engineering and aeronautics are no longer just about formulas and flight plans鈥攖hey are about designing intelligent systems, securing digital infrastructures, integrating automation, and solving complex challenges across industries. That鈥檚 why at the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, we don鈥檛 offer just another traditional engineering or aviation program. We are shaping the future of flight, aerospace, and technology with a multidisciplinary approach that sets us apart.

We are one of the only colleges in the nation where aeronautics, engineering, and engineering technology exist together under one roof. This integration allows our students to collaborate across disciplines, preparing them for industries where the boundaries between mechanical, electrical, computer, and automation engineering are increasingly blurred. Our cybersecurity engineering program is one of the first of its kind, training students to safeguard critical systems in aviation, transportation, and manufacturing. Our aerospace engineering graduates are helping to shape the future of flight, space exploration, and advanced air mobility. Our mechatronics engineering and engineering technology programs focus on automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing, ensuring our graduates have the hands-on experience and technical expertise needed to drive the future of high-tech manufacturing, advanced robotics, and industrial automation.

Our aeronautics programs provide students with state-of-the-industry training facilities and equipment, ensuring they enter the workforce fully prepared for real-world challenges. We operate the largest collegiate aircraft fleet in Ohio, giving our professional pilots unmatched flight training experience. Our multi-lab air traffic control facility is unique among collegiate programs, setting our students apart in air traffic and airspace management. Our fleet of fixed-wing and VTOL drones supports cutting-edge research and applications in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Whether our students are flying, managing airspace, or designing the next generation of autonomous aerial vehicles, they graduate with the skills and experience to lead in an evolving industry.

The future of engineering, aeronautics, and manufacturing is not siloed鈥攊t鈥檚 interdisciplinary, innovative, and deeply connected to the demands of modern industry. Our students are immersed in real-world challenges from day one, working with industry-leading software and technology in our Digital Engineering Design Center (DEDC-Space@天天吃瓜) and developing solutions for cutting-edge sectors in our Center for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). We are one of the few institutions in the nation to hold an FAA waiver for flying over people and property, allowing our students and researchers to push the boundaries of autonomous flight and airspace integration.

Beyond the classroom, our undergraduates and graduate students are engaged in meaningful research and hands-on projects that prepare them to lead in a world of emerging technologies. We鈥檙e securing funding from the Department of Transportation, FAA, and industry leaders to advance workforce development, train educators, and build a pipeline of talent ready for the challenges of tomorrow. The demand for professionals in aeronautics and engineering has never been greater, and our graduates don鈥檛 just enter the workforce鈥攖hey define it.

This is not your grandfather鈥檚 engineering or aviation program. This is the future of engineering, aeronautics, and technology鈥攔ight here at 天天吃瓜 State. Whether you are a student looking to launch an exciting career, a researcher seeking innovation, an industry partner looking for top talent, or an alumnus eager to reconnect, there鈥檚 a place for you at the College of Aeronautics and Engineering. The future is being shaped today, and we invite you to be a part of it.

Go Flashes!
