The College of Aeronautics and Engineering offers a variety of K-12 programs for future aeronautics and engineering leaders who are interested in aeronautics, aviation, engineering, engineering technology, computing, and systems. We believe that young people should be given opportunities – beyond the classroom – to explore STEM and interact with fellow future change-makers!
College of Aeronautics and Engineering Camps
The College of Aeronautics and Engineering has been hosting camps for more than a decade, inspiring boys and girls to explore the world of aeronautics experts and engineers.
FAA Aircraft Pilots Workforce Development Program
A series of 3-day train-the-trainer workshops will be provided to high school teachers from Northeast Ohio and the surrounding region as part of the workforce development program for high school students. The high school teachers will be trained in a curriculum that will be a meaningful experience in preparing students to become aircraft pilots and/or unmanned aircraft systems operators. As part of their training, the teachers will be given the opportunity to earn a through in class and online training. A total of four workshops will be held at the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State campus and airport. Housing and meals will be provided.

In addition to our signature events for multiple middle schools and high schools, we offer exciting opportunities for teachers and counselors to engage with our programs! Schedule a customized visit to explore our cutting-edge facilities based on your students' interests, or bring the experience directly to your classroom by inviting our expert faculty and staff to visit.
