When senior visual communication design major Jordan Edgar, '23, was asked to design the logo for Homeslice Pizzeria, 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 newest dining location, she wanted to create a logo that would match the environment of the 天天吃瓜 Student Center and incorporate elements of a pizza restaurant.
In Spring 2019 Jenna Gilbreath, 鈥23, was an incoming communication studies student, unsure and nervous about what her new life at 天天吃瓜 would look like.
Before he graduated in December 2022, digital media production alumnus Sam Teyssier had already racked up some impressive credits: He鈥檇 worked on television shows including 鈥淎merican Rust鈥 and 鈥淎 League of Their Own鈥 (among others), as well as Sundance Film Festival鈥檚 Audience Award winner 鈥淐ha Cha Real Smooth.鈥 These experiences 鈥 which he began seeking out in his hometown of Pittsburgh during the summer of 2021 鈥 have prepared him for post-graduation life.
Laura Gordon, '87, had such a fulfilling experience as a 天天吃瓜 student, that she now gives back so that others may find their way to the types of relationships and encounters that helped set her on her path. 鈥淚 think it鈥檚 really important to give back when you鈥檝e experienced such valuable support so it鈥檚 always been really important to me to be part of that,鈥 she said.
In March 2021, Lacy Starling, '02, got a call from a community organization in northern 天天吃瓜ucky looking for a CEO for a start-up news organization. They knew Starling only for her business background; after earning her Bachelor of Science in journalism from 天天吃瓜, she went on to earn her M.B.A. For 20 years, she had been an entrepreneur.

Misinformation has permeated conversations across all walks of life.
