Housing Lottery Process
Room selection times are not determined by contract completion date. All students new to housing who complete their contract from Feb. 1 - May 1, 2025, will be entered into a "lottery process". In this process, students will be emailed on May 9 and will receive a random, computer-generated date and time for the Room Selection Process.
Students who will be part of a living-learning community will self-select rooms on May 12 and 13. They will only be able to select rooms connected with where their LLC is assigned to the same hall/floor.
The remaining students will be assigned to room-selection groups where groups will start selecting rooms in 15 - 20 minute intervals starting May 19. (meaning, your random computer-generated date could be May 19, 11:30 a.m. or May 21, 2:40 p.m.)
After all the room-selection groups selection times have occurred:
Students will be able to continue to log in and look at available rooms until June 16.
Students who submit their housing application after May 1 will be able to self-select their housing assignment.
