You will soon see the beginning of a branding change for ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s LaunchPad, located in the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Student Center. In January, the Blackstone LaunchPad will be rebranded as LaunchNET ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï.
All four schools in Northeast Ohio that currently host LaunchPads — ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State, Baldwin Wallace University, Case Western Reserve University and Lorain County Community College — will become part of NEOLaunchNET, powered by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation.

Dinner will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Student Center Ballroom Balcony. Students pay $5 to enjoy the feast.
Hari Prasad Tadaka, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State digital sciences graduate student, says he plans to attend the dinner, and it is his first Thanksgiving in the United States.
The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Library on the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus will be closed from 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, through 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, in observance of Thanksgiving and to allow for maintenance work at the library building. Normal library hours will resume on Saturday morning.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
