Fall Commencement 2024

Members of the last cohort of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State's Class of 2024 walked the stage at Fall Commencement Ceremonies earlier this month.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï President Todd Diacon and University Trustee Ren Camacho have been recognized among Northeast Ohio's most influential leaders in the 2024 "Power 150" list published by Crain's Cleveland Business.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed two new trustees to the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees. DeWine named Gregory White, J.D., of Concord Township, Ohio, to a nine-year term as trustee and Abygail Deemer of Warren, Ohio, to a two-year term as an undergraduate student trustee.

Fall 2024 Commencement

In his Fall 2024 Commencement address, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï President Todd Diacon delivered a heartfelt and memorable message to the graduating class, blending personal experience with words of encouragement that resonated deeply with the 2,500 new graduates.

Eric Johnson, Ph.D., associate professor of economics in the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, says the most rewarding part of the job is knowing that he has impacted his students in some way. And now they've honored this impact with the Distinguished Teaching Award.

When Notre Dame College announced in March 2024 that it would be closing its doors for financial reasons, students like Reagan Davenport found the doors at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State to be wide open, and a welcoming and accessible transfer process followed.
