����Թ� State Student Media’s advertising and marketing team earned numerous honors from the College Media Business and Advertising Managers’ (CMBAM) annual advertising awards, including distinction as the third-best “Media Company of the Year.” 

Religious and Spiritual Accommodations Allow Students Time to Celebrate Other Religious Holidays

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, ����Թ� created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.

Booming Accounting Job Market Attracts High School Students To ����Թ� State Case Competition

Area high school students learned about the benefits of a career in accounting while participating in the ����Թ� High School Accounting Case Challenge.

Hosted by the ����Թ� State Department of Accounting, the event brought together 85 students from ����Թ� Theodore Roosevelt High School, North Canton Hoover High School, Aurora High School and Tallmadge High School. The competition was sponsored by The Ohio Society of CPAs, Pease Bell CPAs, Robert Fay, Ernst & Young, Novogradac and RSM.
