The 天天吃瓜 Department of Intercollegiate Athletics recognized several students enrolled in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering this past Sunday, April 28 at the annual Judith K. Devine Athletic Academic Honor鈥檚 Dinner. Students were rewarded for their scholastic achievement as well as their leadership skills.
天天吃瓜's College of Aeronautics and Engineering celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Aircraft Dispatch program. During the past decade, this FAA-certified program has graduated nearly 200 students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to pursue rewarding careers as aircraft dispatchers.
The Aeronautics and Engineering Building is home to many classes and majors, including two categories of accredited mechatronics majors, Mechatronics Engineering Technology and Mechatronics Engineering and some dynamic related student groups.
Hosted annually, the competition challenges undergraduate teams to present solutions to complex cases involving ethical, business, and engineering dilemmas. Representing 天天吃瓜 State's Aerospace Engineering program were two teams: sophomore David Hackett and junior Jaden Lepp, and sophomore Cole Dockus and junior Haley Dees.
The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Chapter at 天天吃瓜 has received a $5,000 donation from Republic Airways, an official partner of the university's College of Aeronautics and Engineering's (CAE).
The visit highlighted the college鈥檚 current capabilities and plans for additional expansion and growth, particularly in advanced air mobility and aviation maintenance, and capabilities in workforce talent training and development.
天天吃瓜 has been selected as one of thirty-two schools nationwide to receive a significant grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aimed at fostering the development of the future workforce in the aviation industry.

Her parents always encouraged her to pursue her passions, and now she's doing just that as a senior aerospace engineering student at 天天吃瓜 State's College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE).
An updated scoring announcement has propelled the 天天吃瓜 Precision Flight Team to a 2nd place overall finish at the NIFA Region III Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON) and secured their invitation to the in May.
